There is always some degree of trepidation when dealing with double glazing/conservatory companies due to bad press from cowboy companies who promise the best but deliver nothing. However, right from the start, dealing with Anglian has been pain free. We have been very impressed with the service and quality, in particular: - Dave Horgan ? his friendly advice in helping us select the best design - No hard sales stance - Detailed drawings/plans - The best quality foundations and brickwork built by Peter Beck and Paul. Excellent attention to detail - How the inevitable snags/issues during the course of the installation were resolved quickly with the co-ordinators in Basingstoke. So from a tough customer, thanks again for exceeding expectations. John Tse, Guildford I found all of the installers ? both base and building installers ? extremely courteous and helpful. I would be happy to employ them anytime. They explained clearly any points I raised and cleaned all the site. I wanted to write to say how delighted we are with the standard of the finished product but also how professional and courteous everyone connected with the project has been. I work from home so was here throughout the build. The base team we had were ?Peter and Dave? ? who never seemed to stop working even to eat! They really were fantastic and I wanted you to know how impressed we were with them. Everything was tidy at the end of the day and even our neighbours commented that you wouldn?t know anyone was working here ? they were so quiet and tidy. The installation team was ?Steve and Billy? ? and again, they were efficient and quiet and the roofing work they did to connect the conservatory into the house is a work of art in itself. Being southwest facing we were very concerned that the conservatory would become too hot to use during the summer months - your Ultra gas filled sealed units work a treat, insulating the room in both winter and summer. When we build our new home shortly we plan to use Anglian Conservatories again. Many thanks from a happy customer Mr and Mrs Mitchell, Shepperton We decided to have all our windows replaced and have a conservatory built which was quite a major project and could have caused a lot of disruption. We had several estimates from different companies and decided that Anglian offered the best incentives, though were not the cheapest. Their attitude impressed us right from the beginning when we looked at some show conservatories and this attitude continued throughout the whole project. All Anglian staff working at our property were hardworking, pleasant, tidy, efficient AND extremely understanding of our dogs. We are delighted with the finished product. The windows are fantastic, the house is warmer and for the first time in 18 years we do not have any draughts. They are easy to clean and compliment the age of the house. Being north facing our house tends to be quite gloomy, The conservatory has completely changed our living room, doubling it in size and making it a much brighter room to sit in, though now we tend to use the 'conservatory end' of the room more than the main sitting room. It is warm, draught free and very attractive and we love the feel of being 'in the garden' even when we are not! Everyone has commented on what a difference it has made to our house. The exterior of the dwarf wall was completed in a finish to match the rest of the house and we are very please that it blends in so well. We are also very pleased with the cane furniture we purchased through Finishing Touches We would certainly recommend Anglian to any of our friends who might wish to have windows and/or conservatory installed. Dr and P R Dawson, West Horsley It is now over a year since Anglian completed the conservatory. We are very pleased with it and it has been much admired by our friends. We use it throughout the year With all the dark and miserable weather we have had this winter it is so pleasant to have a room where we have no need for artificial light during the day. I admit to a certain smug satisfaction that when it was snowing recently we were able to watch this very picturesque scene as if we were in the garden? but warm and comfortable without outdoor clothing. As you know, this is our second Anglian conservatory. We were so pleased with our first at our old home - a house - that an essential requirement when we decided to move to a bungalow was that it should have space for construction of a good sized conservatory. I was determined to ensure that the conservatory should have a pitched roof and look as if it was part of the original design of the bungalow. I was conscious of the fact that this would probably require the addition of a roof gable. I was reassured by the sketch you prepared in the course of your original visit. This provided an excellent illustration of the way the conservatory would be added to the bungalow- including roof gable. The design was most attractive and we established subsequently that the only company we were prepared to consider as an alternative to Anglian was unable to offer a comparable arrangement. We were satisfied with the agreed price and you received our order. Apart from the obvious advantages of having a conservatory, I think you will agree that the design works very well and has enhanced the character of the bungalow. Yours sincerely Ian Tighe-Ford, Banstead We are delighted with our Anglian conservatory and with the help we got from Anglian's Malcolm and the team, when planning. All aspects of the programme were sorted out for us, including drawings and planning permission. The installation was mostly completed while we were on holiday with only the final "knock through" and electrics left until our return. With this conservatory we have almost doubled our living area, giving us freedom to move. Our dining area is now in the conservatory together with an additional lounge area. We are really very pleased with all aspects and would have no problems in recommending Anglian or using them in the future. We finally decided to have a conservatory and the salesman was very helpful. Throughout the installation the workmen left everything satisfactory. Since its completion it has been much admired and we have used it regularly - it has provided us with more space and is ideal for watching the birds and the garden.
