Conservatories At Anglian the entire process, from the PVCu for the conservatory frame, to toughening the glass in a special plant to ensure it reaches the highest safety requirements, is carried out at our factories in Norwich. As far back as 1983 Anglian introduced the plant and equipment needed to manufacture its own sealed units (one reason it can give a 15 year guarantee on them). The company has its own research and development department that introduced a blend of inert gases in 1992, to improve the standard of insulation. Clearline glazing was developed after research into improving weathering on frames was carried out. This removed the unsightly black seal around frames. Security is a high priority. Recent innovations include new locking systems and hinges on doors and windows. For a basic idea of the different conservatory building materials click on the pictures. |
